Consultant to a variety of companies through Blackant, Patricio also serves in the Board of Advisors since 2021 at 890 Fifth Avenue Partners, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company, where he also leads a transaction in football clubs multi-ownership.

890 made a merger deal in 2021 with Buzzfeed to go public on an enterprise value of $1.5b.

Since 2017, Patricio serves in the Board of Directors of IKO Media Group, an end-to-end media service for broadcasters and content owners.

Until June 2021, he was Managing Director in Italy at A+E Networks (a Disney – Hearst company) since December 2018, where he also took responsibility for digital development as SVP at an EMEA level in March 2020.

In 2016 he founded Cucu Sports, a London based startup that developed an online smart platform which allows brands and athletes to execute social media campaigns. The company was acquired in 2020 by a Canadian PubCo.

In 2014-2018 Patricio, through Blackant, consulted with various companies in the fields of media and sports such as RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana), MP & Silva, Infront Sports & Media, and Mediapro (where he represented the Catalan company in the €3.1B bid for football Serie A TV rights).

Board member and CEO of Italian Serie A football club Palermo in 2012-2014, Patricio was responsible for all corporate areas at the 8th biggest football club in Italy (by number of fans), which is today part of the City Footbal Group.

Prior to that, he worked at the Mediaset Group for a decade (2002-2012). He was heavily involved in the set up of Mediaset Distribution, devoted to developing the international business of Silvio Berlusconi’s media group, and Mediaset Italia (the group’s international flaship TV Channel) with overall responsibility for its management and P&L. He was head of this unit since 2006.

Before arriving in Italy, in 2000-2001, Patricio covered a regional role (Business Development Manager Latin America) and a local one (Advertising Manager Argentina) at SKY Multi-Country Partners, of tycoon Rupert Murdoch, out of Miami and Buenos Aires, respectively, where he was responsible of several sponsor deals in football and motor sports.

Patricio is a laywer admitted to the Buenos Aires Bar. He holds and LL.B. degree from Buenos Aires University and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
